Nestled in the foothills of southern Alberta, Gold Spring Custom Hats is the culmination of decades of dedication in the custom hats, rodeo, and ranching worlds.
Father and son, Vern and Clay Elliott, bring commitment to the Western values of quality and integrity and a keen attention to detail to create the highest quality custom felt hats available anywhere.
Vern got his start at a variety of hat shops through the 1980s, incorporating the finest techniques from a variety of hat makers into his proprietary process. He brings an exceptional customer experience from his time in the retail business into Gold Spring Custom Hats.
You may recognize the name, Clay Elliott, from coverage of the National or Canadian Finals Rodeo. As a three-time NFR qualifier and two-time Canadian Champion saddle bronc rider, Clay now brings his commitment to excellence to Gold Spring Custom Hats.
